Our Affiliation with Johns Hopkins Medicine
Anadolu Medical Center entered into an affiliation agreement with Johns Hopkins Medicine International in 2002.
This agreement facilitates knowledge transfer between Anadolu Medical Center doctors and their colleagues at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, Maryland including remote medical second opinion and continuing medical education via videoconference.
Under this agreement, experts from Johns Hopkins have consulted with Anadolu Medical Center staff in areas including:
- Architectural and engineering design and plan review
- Organization of clinical and operational programs
- Selection of medical equipment and technology
- Practice of information technology
- Hospital infection control policies
- Human resources and performance management
- Use of resources and clinical quality management
- Ensuring standardized patient care
- Patient safety programs
- Joint Commission International compliance
Anadolu Medical Center physicians, nurses, technical personnel and administrators receive educational updates at Johns Hopkins both in their areas of specialty as well as in patient safety, hospital administration and infection control.
