US News & World Report Magazine’s annual evaluation of 5000 hospitals countrywide reasserted Johns Hopkins Medicine’s number one position in the “honor role” once more.
US News & World Report’s evaluation was based on objective indicators such as death rates, technology, staff, and service approach that American Government statistics include. The Johns Hopkins Hospital ranked in the top five in 15 of the 16 specialty categories listed.
Landing in the #1 spot on the Honor roll, Johns Hopkins Medicine also ranked #1 Neurology, Urology, Psychiatry, Reumotology and Ear, Nose and Throat.
